"Beach was beautiful- World Class! The room was perfect- great size. Food was excellent with good variety for all. Pool was fun and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. Recommend guests to go out on the beach first light to see the fishing boats come in."

"We didn’t know quite what to expect from a “Homestay” what a great experience. The property is a short walk from the beach We had a lovely spacious room. Air conditioning & Wi Fi Marco Polo and his team were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay so relaxing. "What a wonderful place, very beautiful and relaxing. Accommodation absolutely top notch, staff even better. Having stayed in several highly rated 5 star hotels during our month long tour of India we felt this to be the best. If you're looking for the backwater experience in true comfort and style then this gives you that. We hired a day boat which picked us up from the bottom of the garden. We spent the evenings watching the boats go by and the chinese fishing nets being used. Realy all one...

" Staff were very helpful and organised our activities and transfers .one of the Bathrooms had mouldy smell which needs resolving. In quiet location but easy to get taxi organised at reception . Food quality was ok if a little slow . Otherwise had enjoyable stay. "

"Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The rooms are very modern and clean. There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests. The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help. Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala. We will happily come back again."

"A beautiful property that is 160 years old staffed by lovely people. Everyone was helpful - especially with local attractions and booking boat tours. Breakfast was good. The pool is good but could use a clean and currently there are no loungers - due to be replaced soon. The owners are building a restaurant on site which will be a great addition."
