"We chose this hotel as it was near the park. The staff were efficient and very helpful. They have us tea and sweets on arrival before showing us to our room. The western style twin beds were clean and comfortable apart from the normal Japanese hard pillows. The legless chairs with cushions were set on a tatami platform and it overlooked a residential area & trees. The shower room was clean and well appointed. As usual there was little room for suitcases except in the corridor by the tea making...

"The hotel is very close to the Gymnasium where we had our Aikido Seminar. It was in easy walking distance. Room was very compact and difficult for my husband who is 6ft height. "

"This Japanese-style hotel has tatami mats throughout. When you arrive, you take your shoes off and store them in lockers. Then, you can walk around the hotel barefoot or in socks. Kimonos are also provided for you to wear inside the hotel. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast buffet features Japanese cuisine and a few pastries. Last but not least, there is an onsen on the top floor."

And the breakfast served is extra good: plenty of choices including some local specialties. It’s the place I will stay again next time I visit Kumamoto."

"As always, room is clean and fully functional, but a little small for 2 opened up luggage. Plenty of amenities at the lobby area including drop coffee. Location is about 5-10 minutes walk from the bus terminal,and right beside Shimotori street with loads of food and entertainment. skippingHas stayed at Sotetsu for our Kanto and Kansai trip previously."

"お盆に宿泊させていただきました。 犬連れOKだし、テラスに柵もあるし、BBQも肉以外の食材はあるし朝ごはんもあるし、とても助かったけど、シャワー室がイケテナイ😓 扉も閉まらないしカーテンも足りなくて水びだし。底も踏み抜きそうだし、上から臭い水が延々ポタポタ落ちてきて気持ち悪い💦 他の方からの指摘もあるのに直さないなら、いっそ使えない事にして下さい。 夜遅くに温泉へ走ることになりました。 ここに泊まられるなら、温泉へ入りに行った方がいいと思います。 これ以外は非常に良かったので残念です😢"
