"Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious. It’s in a very central location, right opposite to JR AwaIkeda Station. It has a big pharmacy right next door and the major shopping centre is 50m walk from the hotel. Very happy to have stayed in this hotel."

"The Cabin was an amazing property - chic, comfortable, right near the Konpira shrine and the Kabuki theater. AND created and managed by a collective of young people in the town! "We stayed at Awaikeda ekimae-shop as we planned to do rafting at beautiful Yoshino river. We stayed at Awaikeda honmachi which is a private house but ekimae-shop has 5 rooms and toilet and showers are all shared. The place is basic but clean. We were 6 of us, sleeping on futon on tatami floor in one room. Am glad that our children experienced a proper Japanese sleeping style!"
