"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator. Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"This was a very clean, quiet hotel with Onsen and restaurant right next to the JR train station, making it easy to get to with luggage. It was also accessible on foot to the shopping district and Nara Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"No staff members in premises but instructions to check in a simple and clear to make the process fast and efficient. Room was very clean and tidy and with lots of space. Had an assortment of useful amenities and was very close to attraction we wanted to see (The Nara Deer). Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Nara and visit the deer."
