"I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently. "Excellent & simple facilities with everything you need. Lots of stairs, but if you are going skiing you kind of need to be good with that. Staff are extremely accommodating and help you with your luggage. Tengu Sushi & Teppanyaki restaurants were delicious."
