"Very nice hotel located on the second floor of a cozy bar. We were a bit worried about the noise from the bar, but it closes after 23 and then it was a very calm area of London. Walking distance to most sights and the tube just around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again. Bonus points that the first drink in the bar was included!"

"Lovely grand looking hotel with a terrific cocktail bar! Rooms were clean and spacious. Very convenient for Bloomsbury and the British Museum. Should be easy enough to slip those Elgin Marbles in a large hold-all and slip back to hotel unnoticed. I’m definitely NOT working for the Greek government! Promise! Scouts honour! Dib Dib Dib!"

The location was ideal for St Pancras and Kings Cross, and the staff were happy to look after baggage before check-in and after check-out. We stayed in suite 12 (2nd floor) and suite 4 (basement). "The location was very good for us for our appointment, but also within walking distance to meet family in the evenings near Baker Street and along Oxford Street. Tube stations were not far had we needed them. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and there were plenty of good choices for breakfast.
