"The historic estate is in impeccable condition. The friendly, professional staff and the beautifully appointed facility both get five stars. "We stayed in a Premier plus room and found it light spacious and very quiet. The room was in excellent condition and was very clean. The only downside to the room was that it did not have an elevator on the floor that we were on but we didn't find this a problem. "Our stay was wonderful. We were lucky that it was warm enough to get into the lake. But even when it got a bit chilly, we enjoyed ourselves in the spa area. And let me tell you this, I've never been in such a charming sauna before. It is partially underwater. "Overall a very enjoyable 6 day stay in this comfortable, modern hotel in beautiful country surroundings. Possibly as a holdover from Covid, there is noone available at reception in the mornings until 11 a.m. which is quite inconvenient and gives a poor impression with the entrance lobby in semi-darkness. Apart from that the breakfasts were good, as were the other meals we enjoyed on the outdoor terrace and we would happily stay there again if we were in the area."
