"Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others."

"Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. "

"I had such a lovely stay at the Brownwye guest house whilst visiting my mum at a nearby care home. The hosts are so nice and the room is clean, quiet and has all the amenities you need. It’s close to the town and river for a scenic walk. I travel lot with work at the usual branded hotels but the Brownwye feels like home. The breakfast we were amazing and I will be booking again very soon."

"We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley. Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying...

"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "
