"When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "Beautiful Hotel, we stayed for 2 nights, arrived on a Sunday, room was very clean and bed was so.comfortable,.. we had Sunday lunch and it was amazing as was the breakfast on both mornings, Staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Parking is excellent."
