On the plus side property has free parking takes animals and McDonald’s ( if that’s your thing) directly opposite . "

"Room was alright, but got eaten alive by mosquitos overnight which wasn’t great, and when I walked over for dinner and a drink the bar / restaurant was all shut up. It wasn’t late. Place is just on the highway so unless you fancy a walk to the neighbouring hotel (15mins) or another drive you wont find any alternatives for food / drink. "

Breakfast on the patio was absolutely enjoyable. There’s a pool that’s perfect for the hot days. Two supermarkets are in walking distance.

The food truck offering dinner is a nice touch. The hotel sits on a narrow street between two drawbridges and the port. Not much street appeal but the off street parking is a plus. And the canal is only a block away with harbor views."

Nice comfortable bed. Access to the parking quite tight for big cars, but great once you are in the secure parking compound.
