"Very clean hotel. Staff were kind, welcoming, and offered a lot of help and suggestions for the surrounding area. The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk to the train station and is close to restaurants. The “Mt. Fuji view” room is definitely worth it. "

"Lovely old fashioned Japanese Hotel. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake with Mount Fuji off to the side. Breakfast is worth it do note it is Japanese breakfast - we loved it. "Beautiful property, the host will wait for you to check-in even if you encounter delays on your journey up to Kawaguchiko. The cottages were extremely clean and cozy, with a small soaking tub right outside of the bathroom. There are a few walkable Onsen nearby open late and there is a phenomenal Oden restaurant nearby open till 11pm."
