"We received a warm welcome from Cam. Our room was clean and our bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was pure delicious perfection. My wife had pulled a muscle in her back and stayed working in the lounge area. Cam made sure that my wife had a hot water bottle, to keep the injured muscle comforted, and pots of tea to keep her going. It is obvious that Cam goes the extra mile for all her guests. "Host Karen was friendly and helpful. The place is set in a peaceful and beautiful location. I stayed for 9 days due to working in and around the location and I enjoyed it . Would not hesitate to go back. Fantastic views ,nice walks and a really comfy and tidy apartment"

"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....

"We couldn't lock the front door all week! The key would not turn. We tried to contact the host but never heard from them. This made the holiday very stressful. The tv did it work either which was annoying. The water pressure in the ensuite shower was really poor making it unusable. The cottage could be so lovely but it feels uncared for and the owner is impossible to contact."
