"Great access from Dampoort station and only a short walk into the city centre. Not a lot of shops nearby but basics are available in the foyer. Rooms located in the same building as Ibis Budget and share the same reception. Quick and easy check-in, including payment of city taxes. Secure building with card access to the building late at night as well as at all times via the elevators. Clean, comfortable room; probably one of the better nights' sleep I've had away. "Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "
