"Hildas is very friendly and personal hotel, only a few minutes walk from Kalmars city center. We stayed there for two days during Ironman Kalmar. Their staf is very accomodating and solution oriented for all our requests and people we met have been staying there a few weeks at the time for like ages - the best way of expressing a review I belive."

"Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things...

"Clean and well maintained. hotel has its own restaurant and it is attached to a Gas/convenience store and oddly a Burger King. Easy stop that has it all."
