Beautiful property with a nice spa. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. Overall, I had a great stay.
For Improvements, I would recommend to switch form bottled waters in the room and spa to filtered water with glasses to save on plastic.
Lastly, the breakfast was nice but I didn’t feel like it was worth nearly 30 euros.
The building has it's antique style of the city. Located in a great location a block away for a tram. The room we were in was a suite very specious. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Very clean.
The staff are amazing! Very helpful and attentive to the guests. Thr cleaning staff were very considerate and professional to our needs. We had great conversations.
The breakfast was excellent! The coffee was rich in flavor.

The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect.
Really helpful and welcoming staff, they are used to travelers and had people who could speak multiple languages. Was easy to get to from the train station, right in the middle of the downtown area, and extremely clean. The room was a good size and very comfortable. I recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. I believe it was the "exceptional w/a view". We had so much space in our room, an oversized tub, and a large balcony. All things that are not common in Europe from my experience. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.
We loved staying here during the festival. Perfect walking distance from the city center, while still being on a quiet and incredibly charming canal street. Room was a generous size and everything was modern and clean. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful and quiet hotel near the train station. Walkable experience through city park to city center. Very attractive premises with fine breakfast room and garden. We would certainly stay hear again!
The perfect place to stay! I was backpacking and stopped here for a couple nights and it was great, right next to the trams/buses/trains and location was only 20 minutes walk to centre. They had lots of seating in the front/bar area that was great, along with an outside section. Rooms are comfortable and a good amount of space. It was a perfect reset, would definitely recommend!
Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde.
