It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. "This spot was amazing all the way around. Like others have said given that it is a journey to get to, spend at least 2 nights. It was the perfect spot to slow down and relax. The food is amazing whether in the fancy dining room or in the cafe. The onsens overlooking nature and the waterfall were spectacular. Staff member April really made our stay great given her recommendations, explaining and teaching about local cuisines offered. The service is 5 star. I’d definitely return !! "
