The hotel itself is very clean and in a prime location on the Asian side of İstanbul, you get both the more local vibe and warmth of that side with the European side literally 20 mins by ferry. We would stay again in a future visit for sure."

"Great staff is this small hotel in an intriguing neighborhood. If you want to explore the Asian side of Istanbul spend a few days walking the streets of this area. Plenty of cafes, fast and slow restaurants, far enough uphill from the sea to be quiet, but everywhere you look these is something fascinating. Close enough to atms and a range of retail shops. The room was tasteful and looked out on a shed whose roof was home to several cats. Some complimentary biscuits to have with coffee or...

"Kalamis Marina Hotel is a great choice. It is located close to the sea promenade and a park. I loved walking there and feed the kitties:).From the hotel room you can hear sea-gulfs-which I loved. There are many grocery stores and restaurants close by althouh Kalamis restaurant menu is great - I ordered several times breakfast which was delicious.The personnel is very kind and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel."

Good service. 15 minute walk to Marmaray trainstation, but You can allways take taxi or jump to a bus or minivan-taxibus on the street. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Allmost no turist around, which is good. Easy to go to old-town, just hop on Marmaray- Train."

"We stayed in the standard suite on the first floor, smaller room but it was very clean, organized well and sufficient for two people. Very helpful staff, walking distance to ferry terminal, buses, cabs and the Kadıköy center. If you’re a light sleeper though, city never sleeps so expect some street noise and due to the historical building wood floors, some noise from within. I’d recommend this place for sure."

"The Marist is an excellent place to stay on a budget. The room was comfortable, tidy and had everything we needed. The hotel was quiet, with minimal street noise, had a lovely breakfast included in the price, and the staff were all very pleasant. The location is easily walkable to the ferry and the metro, and right in Kadiköy with plenty of fantastic dining and shopping options within 15 minutes walking. Would recommend. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Belizia, it is a very cute, clean and extremely well located boutique hotel. The people at the front desk are so nice and helpful with whatever you may need during your stay. The only thing is that it is a bit noisy as it is an older building, but that is normal for Istanbul. 10/10 would recommend. "
