"Britannia usually gets a bad rap and I’ve stayed in an awful one before at Manchester airport, but this is by the far the nicest Britannia and also nicer than other hotels - and our room was super cheap! We had a twin room, beds were very comfy, bathroom basic but clean, ironing board, hairdryer and fan. Food and drinks were good - gluten free choices too which was great - plenty of seating in the sunshine. Return airport shuttle is £14"

"The owner of the property wasn’t sure if it had been cleaned and said would find out when we was sat outside didn’t call us back turned his phone off after waiting for half hour we had to travel all the way home spoiled our children’s birthday weekend "

"Great communication and everything was made super easy for us. We were heading out early the next morning and breakfast was kindly sorted for us so we could grab and go. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again. The kids loved waking up and seeing the cows in the morning! "

Close to the centre and the university so great for visiting the city and especially if you’re visiting someone at the university."
