The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Rooms did not have shampoo or conditioner, staples in any hotel. No mini fridge either, however there was an abundant supply of bottled water. "

"This was the be of my favorite properties on a multi-city trip. This hotel is so unique. It's quiet, updated, impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Wish we stayed longer it was so nice!"

When traveling, sometimes it's nice to have access to TV channels in various languages, I was able to catch up on the news of the day in English and that matters to me. Parking can be challenging as well, for this hotel it was easy to navigate. The included breakfast buffet was one of the best I've enjoyed in a while, and I travel a lot. "The hotel is just in front of a subway station and a walking distance from many restaurants. The room is very comfortable, nice bed, complete kitchen - although a bit hot (but my sensation is that this is a problem in most of the hotels in Europe in Summer). The staff is very nice also. I definitely recommend and will stay again when in Essen."
