Finding this gem was a highlight of my long trip. My room was absolutely perfect - comfy, clean, and even had its own little private patio where I sat and finished work with a glass of wine upon arrival. Its location was ideal - on a quiet, pretty street just a few minutes’ walk of the old city restaurants/shopping. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect. Fellow guests were friendly. I really enjoyed my one day stay at hotel ocean. It was five minutes out of the old city. Very walkable. The room was small, but more than sufficient. There’s no elevator, therefore the staff offered to assist with the luggage. Good free overnight parking in a lot right in front of the hotel. There was a recommendation also for dinner, but I decided to go elsewhere because I wanted to go into the old town the breakfast was a continental breakfast, but quite a few and unlimited choices. Charming hotel with an excellent location. There were some steep and narrow steps to get up to my room on the top floor, but it was absolutely worth it - the room was spacious, thoughtfully laid out, & the bed was very comfortable. Staff were all incredibly helpful & took care of getting my baggage down for me. Would absolutely stay there again if I return to Dinan.

This is a very cute hotel excellently located. It’s right on the river just across from city center Dinan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It exceeded our expectations in every way. We were graciously welcomed into Benedict‘s home. The orientation to the room covered everything we needed to know. The Wi-Fi was fast, the bed was so comfortable and everything was spotless. Every convenience, including bottled water, provided for us. Breakfast was superb. Included yogurt, cereal, croissant, fresh fruit, eggs, cooked to preference, cheese, coffee, tea, juice. It was perfect. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

spotless family-owned hotel, briskly friendly at reception. strong ecological vibe (no bottled water in rooms, which is fine -- topwater in Brittany is excellent). Good breakfast with juicer for oranges, particularly good croissants. Coffee a tad disappointing by Italian standards (a "ristretto" should be black and almost treacly). Excellent location, v good value for money.

Very congenial and helpful staff, especially Georgia who checked us in. Location is very convenient to good restaurants; e.g., Le Bretagne Bistro right next door, and reasonably quiet. The breakfast is superb - a variety of pastries, baked goods including crepes, sliced meats, and eggs which one can boil to one's own liking. Charming! Nice room. Comfortable lobby and rear garden has spectacular views. Walk to the back of the property on the left for great photo opportunities with the castle in the background…

A beautiful property and very helpful and friendly hosts. Our stay here was great. The rooms were comfortable and large based on our experiences with other hotels. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made you feel like you were visiting family. Very well located as well. Despite all these good things the highlight for us was the surprise from Jean at breakfast. And it had nothing to d with the great food.

Comfortable room even though we were put in the old building. If you are going for the pool then thus building is two buildings away from it. Parking simple and easy drive into town

Excellent breakfasts served by our gracious host. We had dinner in the dining room on vending and it was a delight….delicious….unique….excellent!

Very nice hotel for sure, but no elevators and not so easy to bring a large suitcase upstairs. Other than that, very nice and quiet hotel.
