"I would give the Terra Nova 3 stars. The main reason for this lower rating was the state of the bathroom, the toilet had a clear seal applied right over a layer of black grime, leaving it looking absolutely dirty. For a high-end hotel, I definitely expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail."

"Wifi issues!! For the first day wifi only worked outside of the room, not inside; after that, it didn't work at all. My family and friends tried to reach me for two days and couldn't get me. This is a problem because loved ones will be worried and the guest can't call a taxi or order food. There's also no kitchen. The property needs to be updated. Thankfully there's hot water and AC. Wifi nonetheless, is the most important service that travelers need, and it's advertised on their website but the service doesn't work. They have many networks and all networks read "connected but no Internet." I'm very upset about this stay because I missed out on a lot since I wasn't able to make any calls to anyone. I'd appreciate a partial refund."

"The sink in the room did not drain well at all took forever. The ride to the facility was entertaining but long. The food in general was okay but not great. The check-in and checkout staff were efficient, unlike other couples we’ve been at. The island bartenders and entertainment was top-notch. The repeaters dinner was very much appreciated a nice touch."

"We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our butlers Anthony and Robert made us feel so special and we loved all the little surprises they arranged. The general manager Omar is a huge credit to Sandals and does an incredible job making you aware of his presence and checking in on us to ask if there was anything we needed. The food and drinks are 10/10 we did not have a bad meal and there were many stand out dishes. We hope to be back and see everyone again very soon. Thank you"
