"Poachers Paradise was very nice and the manager was great. Unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short by one day due to extreme weather causing the sports event that I was in Rutherglen for to be cancelled. The manager graciously offered to refund one night's stay but was unable to do so due to the wotif payment system. I found this disappointing. Happy to discuss. Ed "

"I booked for 2 nights 20-21 Dec 2025 where I was in Room 16. I found the room & the entire facility to be very clean, well maintained & updated. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable bed (2 good sleeps rare for me), work desk, coffee table, SmartTV, quiet air con, storage space, massive shower, separate toilet, bench area in kitchen with cleaning detergent along with milk, tea, coffee & biscuits. The car park has ample room with parking at the door. The rooms are cleaned daily. The area has a pool & spa that are well looked after with a BBQ area that's lit up at night. The manager Sai was very friendly and made me feel welcome. There was no traffic noise at all. I recommend staying at this place & will stay here if I travel anywhere near the region."
