Frangipani Beach is a beautiful stretch of sand to the west of Pajinka, the most northern tip of Mainland Australia. It's a stunning sight at low tide when you can walk along the bay and out to some of the rocks at the further end of the beach. The car park for Pajinka is at the north end of the beach, and at low tide you can walk around the mangrove trees and climb up the rocks to reach the Tip. As with all waterways in this part of the world, be watchful for crocodiles.

"Any island in norther Australia is going to be expensive as all equipment and consumables come by barge. This accommodation was still very good value for money. We had the warer view room with the wrap around balcony. It felt very private, yet close to the pool. The extensive continental breakfast was provided in the room and topped up daily. Yum. There is an air-conditioner as well as a fan. There was a really long desk in the room that could be used for work, eating or suitcases. A new extra large tv for entertainment. We really liked the restaurant meals - very large and filling with variety. "
