Loved my experience with the hotel. Got in late. They took my passport and handed me a key. I arrived late and looked tired. Next morning breakfast had ended sooner than anticipated but the staff quickly offered to let me take from the buffet and sit down. Giordano(the chef) got wind of what had happened and stepped in to make cappuccinos and a cheese platters and offered lots of advice on the area and the areas I would be visiting. Albergó Céntrale is a jewel in Lamezia. Great breakfast and dinners. Bruno, Lucca, Tania, Teresa, Stefania and our housekeepers all worked hard to ensure we had a pleasurable stay. Lamezia is not a tourist town, so there is not much English spoken. But Bruno and his staff did their best use their English skills and our poor Italian language skills to make our stay enjoyable.
