This has been characterized as a highway hotel and it may so but it's definitely much more than that. Rooms are ample and very comfortable, and clean. Hotel staff is always ready to help. Located next to a highway it allows for easy access to Como, Lecco, Milan or any other place in Lombardy. You do need a car though, but there's a train station a 20-minute walk away. Outstanding visit--very classy place! Felt like an Italian princepessa in her family palazzo! Shopping out the front door, excellent meals at 1-star Michelin restaurant, Mistral, and the lakeside cafe. Breakfast was an unexpected feast, beautifully presented.
