"Great location for exploring Rouen If you’re looking for a hotel in a great location, I would definitely recommend the Mercure Rouen. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made exploring the city really convenient. We stayed in a family room with a king-size bed and bunk beds for the kids, which worked perfectly for us. The room faced the street, but it was surprisingly quiet, and the air conditioning was excellent — especially appreciated during the hot weather! The amenities are fairly minimal, but you have everything you need for a short stay. The gym is very basic and could definitely be better equipped. Overall, a very comfortable and practical base for a couple of days in Rouen, and we would happily stay again."

"We had a large room with queen-size bed, the bathroom was massive with a large hand basin but no shelves to put your toiletry bag, so I had to put it outside the bathroom. In my 40+ years of travelling around, it’s the first time a hotel doesn’t offer cups for rinsing teeth, or even for drinking. No hairdryer again, and I only realised after washing my hair after midnight. A room opposite us made squeaky noise every now and then, it was loud enough to wake us up early in the morning. Please lubricate all the doors🙏"
