"Beautiful hotel, nice large room and bathroom, good breakfast, evening meal not so good, would not eat there again, asked for our steak medium and it was rare and a little tough, waiting staff very good and attentive, had to pay 150 euros on arrival as a deposit otherwise they would not have given us the room, 2 days after leaving I am still waiting for it back!! "

The hotel itself is lovely, perfect location....close to everything you need in Amboise...dining, shopping, etc. The Amboise Chateau and Clos de Luce were within an easy walk. Staff was wonderful, very clean, highly recommend. "
