The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is a wonderful county style hotel in a smaller little community. We loved the atmosphere and the personal attention from the owner. They have done a great job with the facility.
This hotel was more like an apartment, super comfortable and spacious, especially for Germany. No complaints here, very quiet and remote, but only about 5 minutes from "downtown Goerlitz." I would definitely stay again.
We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at this hotel. The remodeling they did recently came out beautifully: spacious and clean rooms, heavenly bed and wonderful touch with the hints of history they have provided throughout the hotel. The breakfast was top class also, great assortment of food and great quality. We have NO complaints what-so-ever. The staff was very helpful also; given it was winter and christmas markets were over, there was barely anything to do and the hotel was mostly...
It’s an old classic building. No A/C so it can get hot in summer heat. Staff was great. No real extras just clean towels and water glasses. Beds were comfortable, slept good even with some random street noise. Very close to the Church and old town. Perfect locator that.
Great location in a building dating back to the 15th Century, but impeccably maintained. Rather steep curved castle stairs, but the manager was very helpful in carrying our luggage. Breakfast was excellent as was service all around. Sherry was waiting in a decanter in the room. When a taxi was delayed picking us up at the train station, the manager (owner?) drove down, himself. First rate service all the way around. Highly recommended.
