"Very nice hotel, good location close to cafes, shops and restaurants. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. We booked a standard double which was a good size on the lower ground floor. The bed was comfortable, good powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful "

"Usual comfortable room and clean and tidy bathroom. Closed to the main shopping centre and free parking in the car park next door. Staff helpful as ever. The only disappointment no biscuits or bottles of water in the room anymore. "

"Just across the road from the train station which was ideal for me, as i arrived by train. Short walk into town and several restaurants. Staff were always very friendly when asked for advise. Breakfast was nice although only had scrambled eggs when i prefer fried but other cooked breakfast items were tasty. Room was very clean and was very quiet at night. Only disappointment was that the lift wasnt working and i was on the 4th floor and im not a fan of heights."

"Easy check in. Staff were great. Initial email was strange - showing me where to park my car(?)... it's right by a train station, in a city centre. Walking directions would have been better. Well kitted our room. A bit dusty on the floor but otherwise very clean and tidy. "

The family room was clean and very spacious. Overall, it was exactly what it promised and very good value for money. The location was great too."
