"Came for MCM comic con - it was well placed at just a 10 minute walk from the back exit of the excel centre. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had the most delicious air con which was needed during a heatwave! There was a 24hr bar which meant that you could pop down and grab a cold drink/snack if you needed to as well. Would definitely rebook!"

"Very basic. Only 2 plug sockets situated near the TV. Shower nob was really stiff to turn on and off. Very basic breakfast, however a place to go sleep and the bed was comfy."

"We stayed in the accessible twin room 210. Can I just say that the bathroom was enormous and so much room to manoeuvre with the wheelchair! What a blessing! Will always book HbyH in future as this is the third time at the brand (different location) and it’s always lovely. Comfortable, helpful staff, great (included) breakfast. Couldn’t fault it."

"The hotel is located in Excel East London and is a great location for me to visit family in Upton Park. The secure parking is very good, but the should advise guests to take the side turn just before hotel to gain access. The Annex is over the road and above a grocery store, but appears very secure with comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay again when visiting family."

"No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice...

"The room was amazing and is one of the more unique stays in London. It has the DLR opposite and the tube is a 15 min walk so convenient location. The room itself was lovely and clean, the bath is absolutely massive and there is tea and coffee in the room."
