"Resort area and beach access was amazing; definitely worth the price of admission. Room floor was pretty dirty, bugs crawling around the corners of the room. The walls are PAPER thin; could hear the people next to us and their television at night. Could also smell the horrible broccoli that they were cooking one night. Will probably not book here again"

" Had a great time in Kauai. Hadn't been back to the island in 15 years. I have to say that the stay was made particularily enjoyable by staying at Castle Kiahuna Plantation & beach Bungalows. Our stay was in suite 89 and the supplies provided were all good. Nicely decorated and was very clean. Short walk to the beach that was excellent. Would recommend this suite as very good. Only caveat is that if you are the type that must have air-con , this suite does not have it. Not sure if other suites on the grounds have it. Breezes keep the suite very comfortable , so no problem for us. "

"When we checked in, the lobby staff was pretty rude, stating she didn’t know how many bathrooms our cottage had because she’s “only front desk, not housekeeping.” The cottage living area itself was decent, but the bedrooms that weren’t the primary were extremely small, you couldn’t open a suitcase without it blocking where you walked. The doors, handles, and locks barely worked since they were pretty outdated. There were dead ants everywhere, even on the “clean” towels and bedsheets. Also beware, they don’t offer housekeeping unless you stay at least 5 nights. For the $35/night resort fee, they honestly don’t provide much. They don’t even have a hot tub and the beach behind the property is pretty dirty. Unless you have a big party and don’t have a choice, I’d recommend staying elsewhere."

"The staff was extremely rude. There was a cockroach found in our room. I reported the staff member who was rude to me to the manager. All he said was that they will make sure he goes back into training. Then he offered me $120 dining credit. The staff member was so rude to my boys and me that we didn’t even feel comfortable going into the lobby or dealing with the concierge. We will never stay at the Sheraton or a Marriott hotel again."

"It is a fantastic place to stay not only do you get breakfast but the people are so nice the place is clean it's just a beautiful environment really enjoyed staying there and would go back anytime. Also loved the vibe and night music and atmosphere."

"Beautiful pool/beach area. Rooms very nice and clean. Great location. Check-in was rude and unhelpful. Pasta was flavorless and over priced. "

"Overall property was clean, room was nice. Expect to be nickel and dimed daily for resort fees and parking but not receive service and value in return. A good hotel, but not a resort by any stretch. Least accommodating hotel we stayed in. Better value at the Whaler Resort."
