The Ponderosa Motel

10/10 Excellent

"I have nothing but praise for this place. It is obviously well maintained and looks really inviting from the outside. The staff were both wonderful when I checked in and they were able to move me upstairs as they had initially found me a room below but I was hoping for an upstairs room instead. The motel was quiet. I had a dog also and the area surrounding the motel was perfect for an early morning dog walk before heading out. Next time I am in town I will be staying here : )"

"we had a very short stay due to timing of an event but the staff were very helpful ahead of time. sorry we missed the restaurant/bar, it looks very cute. Restaurant across the street was great for breakfast and coffee. Would love to return and spend more time at the hotel/restaurant"

"This Motel was obviously built in the 50s according to the bathtub and other items that reflect that era that Tub was very large though, and the shower was the shower. I looked for all my life, except it was a little bit more stinging then I would prefer. I’ve never had a shower that actually had any pressure that I recall other than this one so, “kudos!” the nice lady at the front desk was an angel and you’ll think of your grandmother when you check in. It was a pleasure! Bed👍"
