"I called because I arrived early and asked for early check-in. I was told I have received a phone call in about an hour. I never received a call so I drove to the location, I waited 14 minutes in the lobby for someone from the front desk to come, and the only reason they did is because one of the housekeeping employees went and found her. I explained to her that we had traveled a very long distance and we're looking to do an early check-in and she informed me that she knew because she received my call, we are now an hour and a half since my call and she told me the room wasn't clean yet. I asked her how long it would be. She said about an hour will call you an hour and a half passes, meanwhile I'm sitting in my car with my son waiting… It takes eight minutes to get someone to come to the desk and she informed me that she told me she was going to call me and that the room should be ready in about an hour and a half… I travel a lot and have never had a hotel leave me sitting outside in a car with my son for 2 1/2 hours because they're waiting for a room to get clean let alone the fact that the front desk was without an employee the entire time. "

"Wonderful Stay! The Enloe House is a beautiful Victorian mansion in Roanoke, Alabama that has been lovingly restored by the owners. We have stayed there twice, and will be staying there again. The bedrooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and very nice, period furniture, and the baths are extremely clean and well-appointed. The owners were very nice, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. Downstairs is beautiful and would be a great place for a wedding or other celebration. Ask to see the kitchen! It’s unique!"
