"Mind was a weeknight stay between cities for my trip and at that time this hotel felt more like a contractors crew housing with the work trucks in the small parking lot. The check in staff was friendly. I was immediately aware of the aging lobby area and hallways to the rooms. Room had all that you would need but felt old and worn. There was a small gap between window frame and wall that was open to outside air and traffic noise. Some mold on shower curtain. A good remodel would make a difference. Next time I’ll go a few more minutes to a newer Quality Inn in Bristol, VA. "

"This was a sirprise gem. It's in quite a busy area, with a number of stores and restaurants close by, and near 81, but going up to the motel is like going into another world. It's a lovely pastoral scene with a view of the distant mountains, and so quiet! In the next room was an occasionally screaming toddler but I wouldn't have known if his mother hadn't told me. I couldn't hear a thing. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again."

"Gentleman that checked us in and out was very polite. Room was clean, close to a lot of stuff. Was nice to get up in the mornin and go right over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Would stay here again "

"I would elect Pat to be our next president. He is that great with people. Needs to quit the tobacco though. I want him to be around a long, long time. Bosses ned to give him a big raise and a company car. But not a promotion. He's too cool to be a manger. "
