"The Stanford is a modern hotel located a 40 to 50 minute bus ride from the more touristy ares at the center of Seoul. The area is modern business and high rise residential area with nice parks. It’s a nice quieter area with lots of interesting modern sculptures and architecture. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by. A 15 to 20 minute walk away is a busy older restaurant and bar area."

"Bed was very hard (okay for me but maybe not for everyone). Shower is just a shower head in the bathroom, no shower curtain or anything. Weird smell from the AC. Overall comfy and cheap, good vibes from the whole building. "

"This hotel is spectacular and I will book it again next time I am in Seoul. I travelled solo. The location is perfect, surrounded by stores and cafes. Yet it is quiet. It is also very close to the metro, but and airport limousine. The room was great for me as a solo traveler. Very clean and staff was very kind. You can access the pool once a day, and it is a lovely pool, don’t miss it. They also have a laundry room and at their reception you have great space to hang out with others."

"Had a great stay at the Holiday Inn IHG in Hongdae! The location was perfect—right in the middle of all the fun spots, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering how lively the area is. Staff were friendly and super helpful, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
