"The absolute worst breakfast I have ever experienced at a hotel. Eggs were a loaf and not stirred or mixed up to make them look scrambled. Sausage links were slimy. Biscuits were small and rock hard. I couldn’t even cut into it with my fork. The gravy was even worse. Staff didn’t greet us at any point that we were coming and going from the property. The hotel is not updated for new technology- don’t forget your wall block for your chargers people or you’re screwed. Just walk across the street to Starbucks for breakfast."

"The room was clean but had a very damp and musty smell. In the room, there were visible mouse/bug traps in the open corners of the room. I had small children and didn't want them around those. Evening staff when visible were helpful but morning staff helped with no personalities. Breakfast was great for the kids and was your normal hotel breakfast. The pool was nice especially for younger kids. The beds were not comfortable and the air conditioning unit only worked have the time to actual cool the room. This is not my first place to stay but it was okay for a family on a short visit."

"Was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness and condition of this property!!!!! This stay was one of the best value for our dollar that we have had from start to finish in a very long time!!!! The in room jetted tub was a bonus!!! We'll be back if we ever need a room in Emporia again!!!"

"The motel, room and staff were very good. Except for the noisy HVAC unit in the room.It was irritating and would have made it difficult to sleep. Fortunately we did not need it for heat or cooling and I was able to shut it off. Also the hall HVAC unit at the south end on the 2nd floor was extremely loud and we could hear it in our room. It would appear both units were in need of maintenance."
