"This was the ideal studio apartment for my son and I to explore the part of Japan. It was right next to the Kishibe station and meant we were an hour or less to all the sites we wanted to see from Kyoto to Universal Studios Japan, to Kobe. Room was super clean if not brand new, I forgot to ask how long it had been open. There's a great couple of restaurants there too. Live the Spice House. Chicken Byriani was awesome. Lawson and 7-11 within a short walk (of course). Staff were wonderfully kind...

"This year, 2025, is our 2nd time having stays at Holiday Inn Shin Osaka. Very accessible to Shin Osaka St, they had free and ontime-scheduled shuttle service from and to Shin Osaka St., starting 7am until 9.30pm (if i m not mistaken). We are a family of four with two teenaged kids, really enjoy our stays here! "

"Solid budget property. Right beside the train station, so very easy to navigate anywhere in osaka. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. Would certainly recommend."

"Great location to train station, but not much to do in local area. But not far from downtown Osaka which was nice. Recommend staying if your planning on being outside the room more than in the room. "

"Located very closed to the JR Takatsuki station, where you can travel to both Osaka or Kyoto within 15 min. on rapid trains. Very very convenient. The natural onsen spa is also good to experience!"

"It’s about 7 minutes walk to Shin-Osaka Station via skywalk through a commercial building, which you can access after a minute walk outside. It’s like any other JR VIA hotels, so nothing fancy but everything is clean, at least in my opinion. I did not have much interaction with staff so can’t say they were good or bad. Overall, recommended. "

"We loved our stay at Osaka Garden Palace! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shin-Osaka station is walkable, however, after a long day it can be tiresome to walk; but no fear, they offer a free shuttle from the station to the hotel. It runs about every 15 mins to and from the station which is super convenient to guests! We loved the shuttle service - having small kids, it was very helpful. Will definitely stay again in future visits! : ) "
