"Absolutely everything about our stay was first class.
The hotel was exceptional, the food in all restaurants, including buffet was fantastic. So much choice.
The staff were also all wonderful.
We had a superior double sea front with shared private pool and we could not fault anything about it. We even had the delightful Marina bringing us drinks all day around the pool, she was a delight.
We will definitely be coming back. Thank you. "
"Lovely stay in the area of Ammoudara. Johannes is lovely and accommodating, answering all our questions about how to get to Heraklion and also how to get to Chania.
The pool is lovely and the hotel having access to the beach is wonderful - I would stay again."
"Perfect in every way. Food and drinks were excellent, staff polite and hospitable, while working busy shifts. Beach was great and the highlight of the trip. Facilities were very well kept and entire resort was kept clean and tidy. Overall excellent stay and well recommended. Highlight of the trip!"
"Beautiful surroundings, friendly and professional staff, and delicious food. The local cats were a wonderful surprise and also super friendly. There were numerous activites at the resort and a convenient bus to the beach area. Beach Comber at Stallis beach was beautiful, relatively quiet, served excellent cocktails and amazing food. My only critics of Village Heights were:
1. What is/is not included in half board is not well explained at time of booking - I only found out this information on day 2.
2. The power cut out multiple times daily. Only for a few seconds, so it never caused an issue, but it was slightly worrying.
3. The sign at the cats feeding station states they are neutered, but they are not; kittens ahoy! "
"Aquila Atlantis Hotel is the perfect base to explore Crete’s capital. Spacious, modern rooms, a great rooftop pool with harbour views, and an excellent breakfast. Friendly, professional staff made everything seamless. Walking distance to the port, museums, and old town, ideal for a city stay."
"We loved our stay (August 2025) at the Royal And Imperial Belvedere hotel. Our room was great, newly decorated and spotlessly clean.
The main dining area is really big and being able to sit outside meant you didn't feel like you were going to the same restaurant for every meal! Lots of fresh food options, the grill and the salad bars were excellent. The causal dining options were also great with a range of family friendly food available.
Having a separate bar area from the entertainment means you can choose a more peaceful spot in the evening, or get involved in the fun.
The pools are fab - a 50 metre pool on holiday! Even when it was busy it didn't feel busy. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools or on the peaceful sun terrace.
Theres not a lot to walk to nearby and the local beaches are taken up by sunbeds from the bars, but we'd recommend a walk into Koutouloufari for a look round the shops or a drink in the evening."
