"I read the reviews after booking and to be honest I was not expecting much, but it was lovely. Room spacious and clean, bathroom clean and well stocked. Lots of tea and coffee in room, along with biscuits. Are in the hotel, excellent hot food!!"

Room clean and appealing due to its close proximity to Westquay shopping centre, Mayflower Theatre, cruise ships at Southampton harbour and rail links from Southampton central to london and other key cities. Hotel is nicely presented as high star rating but with robust values. Highly recommend and would definitely again"

"Room warm and clean. Bed comfortable. Parking was ok, but could be an issue, at busy times. I have stayed here on several occasions and never disappoints. I believe value for money."
