"The hotel was perfect in every way. Well situated and within walking distance of the main square. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was terrific with many options to select from. The service was also top notch. The concierge service was also a plus pointing out unique places and neighborhoods to visit, going so far as to give a map detailing the locations. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and made our stay perfect in every way from check in to check out. I might add that the breakfast included a menu to select from as well as a range of options in the dining room. A perfect place to stay when in Prague. "

"Our second stay at this Hotel. It’s a very central location near to the Prague Powder tower and Old town. Quiet at night Perfect for taking in all the sights without walking too far. Great Breakfast selection Staff all really helpful. We will definitely stay here again . "

"It was a wonderful place to stay and a 10 minute walk to the conference. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The hosts were above and beyond helpful and knowledgeable about the area and how to get to whatever we needed. The area is beautiful and safe. There are many good restaurants and a grocery store 10 minutes away. The rooftop terrace views of the city can’t be beat, and is a great spot to go relax. This place is charming and I would love to go back someday!"

"The Hotel That Quietly Wins Prague (and Your Heart) I stayed at the Michelangelo Grand Hotel twice during my Prague trip — once to kick things off (June 17–18), and again to wrap it up (June 22–23). Both times, the staff made me feel like I’d stumbled into a five-star hotel disguised as a really well-run four-star. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice as much and didn’t come close to this level of service. The front desk? Rockstars. They helped me with currency exchange, held my luggage without a second thought, and even let me check in early — which felt like a miracle after a transatlantic haul. They were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that my stay went well. Honestly, if they’d offered to adopt me and let me live behind the reception desk, I might’ve considered it. Rooms were clean, cool (yes, actual air conditioning that works), and comfortable. First room was a simple queen — perfect. Second one had a queen plus a double — even better. Bonus points for the coffee maker, free bottled water, and random little coffee candies that I definitely didn’t need but definitely ate. Even the bathroom soap and shampoo were good — once I figured out the fancy squeeze bottles, which I stared at like a caveman discovering plastic. Location? Ridiculous. You’re practically tripping over history the moment you step out the door. The Franz Kafka rotating head statue? Right there. "It was the greatest stay ever! I arrived with a big problem in hand: my eSIM was not working. The front desk staff (specially Lucie) went above and beyond even using her phone to solve my problem. And breakfast had good choices, with very friendly staff. "

"Mama Shelter Prague was a great hotel - cool amenities with free pool, foosball and arcade games in the lobby. Nice patio and restaurant. The rooms were clean and really nice. The area of Holesovice isn’t the nicest but it was an easy 30 min walk into Old Towne and around to see the main tourist sites of Prague. Overall a great stay."
