All the team was wonderful, smiling, helpful. Straight away comfort with a glowing fire.. modern lounge for food and drinks. "Room perfectly clean and comfortable. Although not enough plug sockets for charging near bed. Beautiful building and good service at reception and the bar. Staff very friendly to us. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the restaurant. Would not recommend the Wetherspoons opposite for breakfast! Awful.

The smoke alarm went off at 02:00 and there was a dead pigeon trapped in the bird netting outside our window. I still like the place though, I mean, we had stairs in the room to get to the ensuite."
