Nice historic-looking property. Front desk person was great! Only complaint was having to haul my luggage up and down three flights of steps to get to my room. No lift.

Dinning and bar very nice. Food is very good and staff friendly. Will stay here again.

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

Ellie, the receptionist, was AMAZING. We arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated due to getting lost and other reasons not involving the hotel. I was not very nice when we arrived and irritated about not finding the parking lot. Lovey, kind, and helpful Ellie took care of us. She went above and beyond to comfort us and make us comfortable. She even exited the hotel and personally took me to the parking lot!!! God bless you Ellie for a wonderful stay.

Plenty of parking spaces. Staff are nice and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Amazing overall. Bed could be a little more Cush but overall great facilities and the cafe at the bottom is wonderful.

Great hotel and location. Staff is excellent. I chose not to eat at the hotel or use the bar as local establishments offer better variety at more reasonable cost. There are no hotel vending machines or means of purchasing snacks. Again, one can use local means outside the hotel.

Close to the Edinburgh castle, and transportation to airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Elevator does not reach the 3rd floor, a wee annoying but not a problem for us.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The staff were all quite friendly and helpful and the included amenities made us feel as if we were at home. Our unit had everything we could have wanted, from included wifi to luxurious bed linens, a clothes washer/dryer, a fully-stocked kitchen with dishwasher (even including dishwasher tablets and washing-up liquid), large soaking bathtub with a rainfall shower head plus a handheld nozzle, and blackout curtains that were very welcome for the long days of June in...

The space was unuque and beautiful. Definite old world charm. The staff was helpful with suggestions, and friendly. The common spaces were very nice. I would say the room is good for sleeping, but just be aware they are very tiny rooms. It was exactly what we needed, but if I wanted to stay at a place where I'd be in my room a lot I would probably choose something else. But since my room was just for sleeping I would stay here again because I liked all the other spaces.
