As soon as we got off the bus, the very nice and attentive staff met up with us at the stop and began checking us in and welcoming us with some delicious tea. We were promptly led to choose a traditional robe robe/yakata and led to our rooms after the tea. The rooms are very well kept and was spacious. The ocean view we had was beautiful. We were fortunate to get a room with a private onsen outdoor bath. It was very refreshing and relaxing. Definitely would recommend anyone or group visiting...

I know my husband plans to write a longer review but until that happens, just know that this lovely little gem is exactly that. The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need. The villa was beautiful as was our outdoor onsen which I wish I could have taken with me. The real stand out for us was the staff, their kindness and the quality of the food. We were truly blown away and agreed that we had some of our finest meals here. On second thought I wish I could bring Chef home with me....

The room was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were so comfortable and the view was so beautiful. We used the onsen and it was magical because we had a full moon. The bath products they have for the guests and the onsen user are the best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash i have ever used in my 51 years. This is place is the perfect getaway to relax. Although you need to take a bus, this is place is easy to find. If in doubt English speaking staff is available at the tourist information in Shuzenji station. This ryokan offers 4 type of onsen bath of which three can be enjoyed privately at no extra costs.
