"It is rustic and charming. Does not provide modern amenities such as soft shower towels, no phone in room to communicate to front desk, no WI-FI included, no iron board available, or iron boards with irons in room and room lighting after hours is low. We were there for a wedding in a separate hotel so some these items were necessary for us to prepare for the event."

"Parking and location was really good and it was clean. The breakfast available wasn’t good, based on taste, I believe because was a town out of big areas and that the way they cook. "

"There is no place like the Santa Maria. The history is very impactful and the ground are gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hike up to the basaltico in the evening was stunning. We started mid-werk in February and things were pretty quiet. The food in the restaurant was pretty good, but not great. The guac was the highlight. The hamburger was a strange interpretation of a burger. We stayed in the newer rooms and it was quiet and clean. The wifi actually worked better than expected. We watched the Mask of Zorro that night so we could see the property in the movies. Although they added extra blankets to the bed, there was no heat and it was a little cold in our room. My only suggestion would be to add portable space heaters to the rooms for the off season. "

"Breakfasts were excellent but not free as suggested. They did the best they could to accomodate us. At times there were 13 friends and family that had breakfast with us."

"The place is amazing, in the middle of the forest, difficult to get there due to road condition, moody road and raining days not a good combination. The place doesn't have a personal to help you. You are at your own. We call for help, we recived text massage only and no one never show up to help us to fix the problem we call for. We leave early morning due to not be able to take a shower we only had a 2 seconds warm water and then cold water. Wifi don't work eather. Ower doesn't want to refund. Stress night. I booked be couse the page offers spa and food , but doesn't specify that is no one to take care of you at the place. "
