"The hotel was cute and very clean. Hot water is only available at certain times of the day but it is posted so you can plan ahead if you want a hot shower. My biggest disappointment was that the restaurant is now closed. A nice touch would be for the lobby to offer coffee and tea in the morning, as the nearest coffee is a 10 minute walk and nothing opens until 8am"

"From an American…,if you don’t speak Spanish this is not for you. Staff laughed at my son who wanted to do the zipline because he couldn’t understand them and for adults to make fun of a child is the reason they got a low rating. Property is huge and great for kids. Lemurs, tiger, petting zoo, ziplining, bike riding, archery, etc it will keep you busy! Lastly, if you’re a person of color you’ll experience some racism from locals and staff in Amecameca. Stay in tourists areas if you don’t want to see how locals live. It’s about an hour away from major airport anyway and the driving in Mexico is lawless.the women at front desk were helpful and spoke English and overall a good stay for the kids and they do keep the property and pools clean! "

"Room was freezing cold. Temperature at night dropped to 9 degrees Celsius and the bed only had one blanket and no heating. We were denied a 45 minutes late check out although hotel was half empty. "

Police academy on site: loud marching at 7a.m. abandoned sports center on site with bull ring & huge stadium & pools: strangely interesting "
