The hotel and staff were amazing! They were attentive, polite, and always willing to help. After a few days we were looking to explore the area and find a nice place for lunch. One of the servers in their restaurant recommended a local place and gave us directions to find the place. It was amazing! We did not have a single issue. Stayed here on honeymoon. Rented a car and explored the Yucatan using the Hacienda as a base. Wonderful property, the casitas maya are excellent, and the food at the restaurant (especially breakfast) is the best of what the region has to offer. The staff are discrete, almost entirely out of site but quickly in the room to clean up once you leave for dinner, etc.

There were some complaints in the reviews of the shower not getting hot. We initially thought we had that problem too but after at least 2 minutes of letting the water run it turned hot. My suggestion, leave the handle right in the middle of hot and cold and let it run. That may help.

We have traveled extensively; this place was one of the most incredible in all our travels. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. We will be back and have recommended this place to many others.
It was about a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral, and many shops and restaurants. Shopping centers in front and back of hotel. I drove from Cancun and getting to the hotel was a little tricky. The colonial buildings and houses were amazing in downtown centro Merida overall it was wonderful, also drove to Progresso which was only about 45 minutes away, wonderful beach and food.
I highly recommend the Hampton Inn, I have always stayed there and the service and rooms are excellent and impeccably clean. I also highly recommend staying on the 4th floor. Alberto, the young man in charge of cleaning and servicing the rooms there is super detailed oriented and shows extra care in his work. He goes the extra mile. You will not be dissappointed with the service and attention he will give your room!
I picked this hotel since it was located close to my family's house. I am so glad I did because this hotel put a ton of American hotels to shame with how clean, quiet, easily located from the street and nice it was. The price was also very reasonable for how large the room was. The security was also very good at this hotel when my dad was trying to come up to our room to pick us up they made him wait until they called my room to verify who he was.
