"After an easy check in we got to our spacious room. The beds are quite firm and not so comfortable but it was nice to have a fridge. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options- cereal, bread, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, rice, noodles, chicken… The pool was also really nice (and huge!) and on weekends they have kid activities. My daughter loved the activities and the staff made them very fun. "

"The room wasn't really clean, I found cockroach in the toilet. The television chann sometimes gone, but if you don't watch tv it doesn't matter. The area pretty strategic. And the receptionist service very good. "

"The hotel needs to update its facilities because it is already too old. It does not live up to it’s 4-star hotel status. We booked it hoping that we will have a wonderful experience in a 4-star hotel, but we were very disappointed with the quality of room we had. They need to upgrade the hotel and compete with other 4-star hotels in the city."

"So that we're on the same page here, Yogyakarta sucks. You can't walk anywhere, not even really one block from the hotel. The air is dirty from the millions of scooters and there's not much to do outside of the two big temples far out of town. Given that as the baseline, the Gaia Cosmo is a decent hotel. Our room was nice and quiet and the lobby is nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They do serve this stomach-churning gross Asian breakfast buffet that smells so strong. I would stay...

"The hotel was pretty run down and felt a bit dirty. The sheets had holes and didn’t fit the bed. The bathroom had some mould. The hotel is located by a busy street and we had great difficulty to get a grab to pick us up there. Ended up checking out early and finding another hotel."
