My wife and I just got back last night from 10 days all over Ireland and this was our favorite stay. Helena, Tomas and the rest of the staff are amazing! This is one of the most delightful places we've ever stayed. Simultaneously like staying in a dear friend's beautiful home AND the highest quality hotel. The locally sources and prepared food is superb; everyone who works there is friendly, professional, & helpful; the grounds & buildings are idyllic; and Carlingford is a lovely, well-appointed, walkable town. We would definitely return to Ghan House!
This is a very charming spot that we stumbled upon due to some changes in our travel plans. It was a very pleasant stay with an incredible staff. The included breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable with a babbling creek right outside the windows. If you are in the area it is a wonderful place to stay.

Kathleen is a most welcoming host, this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, authentic experience. Lots of nice fresh fruit and delicious soda bread were among the offerings at breakfast.
I had a three day delightful. Stay with Anne and her family. Anne cooked an amazing Irish breakfast and was lovely and helpful. I stayed in a small unit outside of the main house and it was perfect for me. Complete with coffee and even exercise equipment! I would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone passing through the area.
