"Pros - it is strategically located in downtown and in the market area with restaurants , taxi , jeepney etc. Rooms are big size with good housekeeping. Cons - Aircons and televisions are vintage old now and need to be replaced. LED tvs are there everywhere now. Aircons.arent performing well. Some hangers in cupboards , provision of glasses and ice for drinks sold by the Pension House are suggested. "

"Cons: The water of the shower is slow. The bowl is hard to flush. The elevator starts at 2nd floor. They won't give official receipt if you book online. Booking online is very expensive. I paid 3000 for standard room only. The price for standard room if you go directly to the hotel is only 1500. 3000 pesos is for deluxe room already. Key card malfunctions. No soap and shampoo. "The Sugarland Hotel is not a new place but my husband and I enjoyed staying there very much. The rooms and hotel itself have been maintained well and are very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We were able to order a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. The breakfast was good and we were able to order eggs whatever way we liked them.
