"The hotel was an easy distance from the airport. However, it was a little odd to me that there was no bathroom adjacent to the lobby. This means that guests have to check in and make it to there room in time to use the bathroom...something to keep in mind especially if you had a long drive from Medellin. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom sink making shaving and washing your face more problematic."

"Was supposed to be picked up from the airport it never happened had to pay $60 for a 4 minute ride. We had non of the amenities that was supposed to be there. However the staff were very nice and tried to help but it didn’t make up for it "

"The hotel is very nice. I mean the only thing to do is relax by the pool and eat unless you leave the resort. 1 to 2 days max is plenty. The service is great, the food menu needs improving and I didn’t think the food was all that. To be honest it’s average at best. I had great company so I really enjoyed myself. The one man music group was wonderful on Saturday night. "

"Never again, visited for the weekend. Disappointed, if you are looking for food options, the breakfast buffet was lame. They had Colombian rice with beans , soup, and potatoes, breads, fruits, but rice and beans at a Hotel Called The Brown??? For breakfast??? Not only that but 80% of the people eating were with guest bracelets and were locals which were young men with women that had fake butts. The staff not very friendly typically and not on top of the guest as you would think in a place like they describe. Save your money and time and go to Sofitel Baru. "
